If you thought the feud was over between Donald Trump and Rosie O’Donnell, you would be very wrong. O’Donnell made that clear on Friday when she declared that Trump is Voldemort and Darth Vadar all rolled into one evil GOP White House hopeful.
In an interview on WABC Radio’s Election Central with Rita Cosby, O’Donnell said the 2016 presidential race is comparable to an “epic battle worthy of a new ‘Star Wars’ movie.”
You have to decide. Are you going to be with the Force or are you going to be on the dark side?” O’Donnell said. “It’s your choice. Just like Harry Potter, he’s like Lord Voldemort. You know stay away from the dementor.
This is not the first time Trump and O’Donnell have criticized one another. Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly confronted the Republican frontrunner about calling women “fat pigs, dogs, slobs, disgusting animals” during a debate. Trump interrupted her with: “Only Rosie O’Donnell,” and seemed to think that was an acceptable explanation for his behavior.
On Friday, O’Donnell applauded Kelly for having the guts to confront the misogynistic billionaire and said she was “stunned” that Trump would use her “as a punch line with impunity.”
“The only person who had the guts to stand up to him about it was Megyn Kelly,” O’Donnell said. “Megyn Kelly was a superhero, fighter for the truth when she said that, and he revealed who he was with his answer.”
She then compared Trump to a Mafioso and said he was nothing more than an “uneducated bully, serial liar, and a misogynist.”
He is the worst representation of what the United States is or could be. He is everything we should reject as a nation,” O’Donnell said. “He’s like a bully for the mafia. Like he thinks that he can shut you up, like he’s Tony Soprano.
O’Donnell also had harsh words for Trump’s rival, Texas Sen. Ted. Cruz.
“He’s not worth my time to pay attention to,” she said. “He seems even, if possible, more dangerous than Donald Trump because he’s an actual politician. He’s dangerous, as well.”
O’Donnell said that she is supporting Hillary Clinton, adding that she thinks Bernie Sanders is too idealistic.
“She will win and Bernie Sanders will concede,” O’Donnell said of the upcoming New York primary. “She will ask him to help her to get to the White House, which is the goal that will protect all of humanity as well as the nation’s reputation.”
