Racists Raise Confederate Flag Outside S.C. Statehouse In Secessionist Rally (VIDEO)

In the wake of heightened racial tensions following the killings of Alton Sterling in Louisiana and Philando Castile in Minnesota by police, along with the sniper killings of five police officers in Dallas, Texas, most reasonable people would not want to inflame the situation further. However, the South Carolina Secessionist Party decided to hold a rally on Sunday morning in which they raised the Confederate flag outside the Statehouse once again. Since the flag was removed from the statehouse grounds following the shooting of nine parishioners by a white supremacist in an historic black church last year, these idiots have decided to do a yearly flag raising to make sure everyone knows that flag or no flag, they are as hateful as ever. Here is an image of the advertisement that acted as a siren call to racists across the state:

Members of the hate group dressed up as confederate soldiers, and saluted the hate flag. The group has called the removal of the flag from the statehouse grounds “the greatest treason” in South Carolina history. Here is video of their pathetic flag raising:

In the wake of the shootings this week, the #BlackLivesMatter counter-protest that was planned in reaction to this despicable event was cancelled, but the racists wouldn’t budge when officials reached out to them to do the same out of respect for the current situation. Though there was no official counter protest, many people showed up to protest the hateful display just the same.

These idiots are the same people who accuse #BlackLivesMatter and other civil rights groups of stirring up racial tensions, and then they go and do something like this at the worst possible time. They better not ever make such accusations again. They have no legitimate grievances, and they are in no way a legitimate civil rights organization. If ever there was a hate group, this is clearly it.
