Paris Mayor To Sue Fox ‘News’ For Being Despicable, Misleading Liars

Just when you thought the irony of it taking radical Muslims to make Fox “News” love France couldn’t get any better, it looks like the pretend news network will go back to eating freedom fries asap.

The seemingly unapologetic foxbots and mannequins at Fox News finally ate a little crow when they admitted to completely fabricating a slew of stories about supposed “no go zones” in France and England. A “no go zone” is a district where the police and other officials supposedly allow scary Muslims to enforce Sharia Law and ban any nice, white Christians from entering.

Of course, this is not to be confused with Fox News’ “no truth zone,” in which no factual information dare enter.

But even if Paris thinks Jerry Lewis is funny, they weren’t amused by Fox’s false reporting. In fact, Paris mayor, Anne Hidalgo, says she’s planning to sue Fox News for making up lies about her city.

Can we say, “Je Ne Suis Pas Avec Fox News?

When we’re insulted, and when we’ve had an image, then I think we’ll have to sue, I think we’ll have to go to court, in order to have these words removed,” Hidalgo told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour. “The image of Paris has been prejudiced, and the honor of Paris has been prejudiced. (CNN)

Although I’m no lawyer, I’m pretty sure suing Fox News is like leading a rebel attack on the death star and not something I would recommend. It’s also not quite clear what the mayor of Paris seeks to accomplish with the lawsuit, but CNN intends to air the full interview with her later this week.

Here’s a settlement suggestion: make Bill O’ Reilly wear a beret and speak like Pepe’ Le Pew for a week.

“Oui, je aime beaucoup cette idée!”

Her lawsuit has no merit. It won’t be heard.

Yo Jr., I hate to bust your bubble but they won’t be sued in a U.S. Court. They’ll be sued in France and their laws are different. Even if it is in the U.S. and gets thrown out watching the ” Animatronic Squawking Heads/Bimbos” on Fox Opinion Network having to eat their own B.S. will be entertaining I’m quite sure of it.

The case has no merit. It WON’T be heard. And I hate to burst your bubble but it would have to be heard here in the US.

          Yo Jr.
Don’t worry your little head you could never bust my bubble as long as the “Animatronic Squawking Heads/Bimbos” at FUX NewZZZ are having to eat their own sh*t and there’s been a ton of that going on. The best part is watching Bill-O “The CLOWN” trying to claim he had nothing to do with their lies right after watching the video of him lying through his teeth. ROFLMAO!!!
“All I can tell you is I had nothing to do with any of that but I will mention Bill-O is a “FASCIST”!!!

There likely will be no lawsuit…as it suggests in the article. The point here is that even the Mayor of a major international city, has noticed that the “journalists” on FOX news tend to exaggerate, pontificate and blatantly lie. Not only did she notice; but she took exception, and FOX publicly “apologized”.

      • ACL_JR

Rebecca- News organizations and newspapers make mistakes every day. When they do, they acknowledge them as Fox did. Open any major newspaper and you will normally find inside the front page (pg 2) an admission of a mistake in the form of a retraction and apology.
( I am not saying what Fox did is NOT irresponsible, it clearly was.)

This case would be heard in France. Their laws about broadcasting verifiable lies are different. For example, Apple was forced to stop advertising their computers were faster back before Apple moved to the same Intel chips PC’s use. The facts showed they were actually far slower than their advertising suggested and they were forced to pull the ads. Fox is getting sued. It won’t change Murdock’s business model. He’s been too successful with his brand of tabloid journalism…

It’s a pity it takes a European City to take on this miserable excuse of a news channel. They are disgusting.

  • Doy Bowers

And they were just starting to acquire a taste for “FRENCH FRIES” again. How Sad.

  • Bill

Faux Editorial & Opinion Propaganda Channel will have some kind of Bull Shi _ defense on why they lie. Right Wing and the Tea Baggers don’t mind being lied too.

  • Chris L Hough

add this to the pile of phone-tapping reporting garbage from the UK. Murdock should be thrown out on his ear from everywhere in Europe. He’s already being laughed out.

  • Bruce Brown

If people sued Fox every time they lied they’d never have time to report the “news” Hmmm.

  • Matt Wiggles-Rotherham

The opinions of these people (or more likely one much older, considerably richer person) expressed as factual news.

    This is abhorant.

TEAM OF BOSSES!!!! THIS SHIT AINT GOING NOWHERE!!!! YOU GOT A BETTER CHANCE OF SEEING THE DISH NETWORK DROP FOX AGAIN!!!!! THIS WOMAN IS A REAL DUMBASS!!!! YOU CAN CALL THE NO-GO ZONES WHATEVER YOU WANT BUT THEY ARE THERE AND SHE WOULD NEVER EVER GO TO THOSE PLACES AND NOR SHOULD SHE!
