Lindsey Graham Begs Republicans To Un-Endorse Trump After He Did This

South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham is lashing out at Donald Trump and telling his Republican colleagues that they need to un-endorse the Republican nominee.

On May 27, in San Diego, Trump attacked federal Judge Gonzalo Curiel, the man presiding over two class action suits against him. The billionaire spent 12 minutes attacked Curiel for being Mexican. The Republican nominee actually said that the judge is unable to be impartial because of his ethnicity and in the days after, he has doubled down on these attacks.

Trump’s racist attacks on Curiel have caused many of the members of the GOP to disavow their candidate’s statements, but Lindsey Graham has taken it a step further — he is disavowing not just the attacks, but also the nominee. In an interview with The New York Times, Graham said:

This is the most un-American thing from a politician since Joe McCarthy. If anybody was looking for an off-ramp, this is probably it. There’ll come a time when the love of country will trump hatred of Hillary.

Whoah. Not only is he slamming his party’s candidate, he is actually saying the presumptive Democratic nominee is the better choice.

What Graham is not acknowledging is that Trump is the perfect Republican. He’s not any more un-American than the members of the party who have been working hard to take away rights from everyone who isn’t a white, Christian male. GOP voters are in love with Trump because he says everything that they think, these attacks on an AMERICAN judge are no different. I am American with a Hispanic last name, and I cannot tell you how many times a Republican has told me to “Go back to my own country” just because my name sounds “foreign.” Trump attacked the judge because of the very same reason.

He is the perfect Republican and that is the real problem, not his attacks on Curiel.
