Former Republican vice presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, gave one of her usual batsh*t crazy speeches at a Trump event in Cedar Rapids on Monday. Not only did she start out in what seems to be a Dr.Seuss-ish rhyme, but then goes on to say that both parties being against Trump means America loves him. WTF? No, it means that he is that slimy! That wasn’t the only message Palin wanted to deliver. She decided to use the stage to address the accusations Rep. Steve King (R-IA) made about her.
During an interview with MSNBC, King pointed out the fact that Trump’s resources and assets are capable of swaying people’s thoughts.
There aren’t very many people who have been able to say no to Donald Trump. He has a massive amount of assets and resources that he can deploy when it comes time to convince someone. That has to impact how people think.
We all know Palin’s stance when it comes to accusations. Even if it’s true, deny, deny, deny.
He’s accusing me on MSNBC — first, MSNBC, really — of selling my support to Mr. Trump. This is why people don’t like politics, they know that it’s a dirty business because people will say things they know are untrue.
Maybe he’s forgotten some of his heart in the heartland, got a touch of that Potomac Fever there in D.C. Maybe he’s been — I don’t know — maybe he’s been hanging out in a corn field too long huffing ethanol or something because his accusations here are way off base.
According to Palin, the only promise she received from Trump was his vow to make America great again – and she fell for it.
