President Barack Obama warned Donald Trump against hiring Michael Flynn as national security adviser just after the 2016 election but the former reality show star refused to listen. Flynn had been fired by the Obama administration and after he resigned in disgrace from the Trump administration, the so-called president called him a ‘wonderful guy’ then proceeded to blast the ‘fake media.’ Obama applied sanctions to Russia in January of 2017 as punishment for interfering in the 2016 election. Trump recently failed to impose sanctions against the hostile foreign power.
Still, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted that ‘unlike Obama,’ Trump “isn’t going to be pushed around by Russia.”
