Here’s The Passage In Ann Coulter’s New Book That’s So Disgusting Even Her Fans Aren’t Defending It

Professional conservative troll Ann Coulter officially launched her new pro-Trump book promotional tour on Tuesday, but it’s already blown up in her face.

For starters, the unabashed racist Coulter watched Trump take the wind out of her sails by violating the one thing she cared about: Deporting 11 million immigrants. In a complete reversal of his previous position, Trump now suggested that he may not deport all of them after all.

On the same day Coulter published a book in which she wrote that the one thing Trump could do to lose the election was soften his position on immigration – Trump signals an openness to softening his position. Ouch.

However, most people were happy to ignore Coulter’s new publicity stunt – until someone actually bothered to crack open the book and look inside. What they found was very, very disgusting.

While defending Trump’s shameful attack on a disabled reporter, Coulter wrote (emphasis added):

Trump denied knowing that Serge was disabled, and demanded an apology, saying that anyone could see his imitation was of a flustered, frightened reporter, not a disabled person. It’s true that Trump was not mimicking any mannerisms that Serge has. He doesn’t jerk around or flail his arms. He’s not retarded. He sits calmly, but if you look at his wrists, you’ll see they are curved in. That’s not the imitation Trump was doing – he was doing a standard retard, waving his arms and sounding stupid: “‘Ahhh, I don’t know what I said – ahhh, I don’t remember!’ He’s going, ‘Ahhh, I don’t remember, maybe that’s what I said!'”

Unbelievably crass – even for Ann Coulter, a woman who once gained notoriety by attacking the widows of 9/11 first responders.

Here’s what Trump actually did – a performance so obviously meant to lampoon the reporter’s disabilities that denying it is doubly insulting:

The reaction to Coulter’s passage has been unanimously critical. Even Trump’s fans, normally so vocal, seem to want to get out of the way of this one. In an exhaustive scan of Coulter’s Twitter mentions following the “standard retard” comment going viral, there was even a whiff of defense from conservatives. Many joined critics in condemning her.

Coulter, whose vile rhetoric has worn thin for years now, may have finally gone too far. It’s a fitting end to the career of a reprehensible human being. The queen of the mud pit may have finally drowned in it.
