If you’re on Facebook, you’ve all seen the messages in your feed. A friend will create a post asking you to respond, and if you don’t, you will be deleted from their Facebook “friends” list. Most of the time you don’t even know them personally, and can’t remember how they became your Facebook friend in the first place. Only when they post something so blatantly offensive and heinous (like advocating for the wholesale slaughter of puppies or forcing young children into child labor camps) that you realize you shouldn’t be “friends” with this person in the first place.
Have you ever wondered how many of your friends secretly like Donald Trump? If so, there’s a handy new tool that will help you pull them out of hiding and delete them from your friends list. It works like this.
Go ahead, open up a new tab. I’ll wait. Type in friendswholiketrump.com. You will be redirected to your own Facebook friends search page, which will look like this:
Just below the bar will be a list of your “friends” (if there are any) who are crushing on The Donald big time.
Wow! He likes Donald Trump? She’s a grassroots supporter? Who knew?
The search bar also has multiple uses. You can type in any of the Republican candidates’ names and get the same result. Or maybe you want to weed out those friends who like the puppies or young children things mentioned above. Go for it. The sky’s the limit. Now what you do with the information is strictly your choice. You can delete these “friends” or maybe just play with them awhile. Send them posts advocating your candidate, or start Trump-shaming them ad nauseum.
So, if you’ve got a spare hour on your hands, edit your own feed by editing out those undesirable friends. Or blow up their feeds with some well-placed memes and articles. What are they going to do?
