Sarah Palin gave us all something to celebrate this Fourth of July when she announced that she’s quitting her Internet TV-channel. That’s right — the same network that brought us Yuletide cheer in a negligee and the solution to the California drought nobody wanted is no longer going to offer premium, paywalled content.
This means, of course, this the experiment in Internet TV has been an utter failure. Sounds a lot like Palin’s political career, doesn’t it?
“Let’s keep at it”
Palin tried to keep an upbeat tone in the announcement. She thanked her audience for their “insightful comments,” suggesting that the people who read the posts to her should have their eyes checked, and then touted that they were going to make all of her “content” free. So if you’ve got a mean hankering for some IQ damage, you can get your daily fix of Sarah Palin without having to pay for the $9.95 a month or $99.95 a year subscription.
Palin encouraged her audience to keep reading her Facebook and checking SarahPAC.com, to keep up with her opinions, and then thanked everyone for “taking this journey” with her.
Hey, I wanna thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support, and to let you know personally that we’re making all of my content free now! It’s starting August 1st, everything’s free, and just to let you know, that it is an honor to have you subscribe, really it’s been so illuminating and still is so illuminating to read and to respond to many of your insightful comments about current events, about so many things goin’ on in our world today.
Now, it is with an important presidential election comin’ up that we are gonna do this. I just want to make sure that your voices and mine are heard by the widest possible audience across this great land of ours. I really look forward to continuing to hear your ideas and your dreams and your solutions for America. I’m going to share my own too, keep doin’ this on Facebook and SarahPAC.com, and on the road as we confront these critical choices that we have in 2016.
Members can find additional information about their subscriptions by clicking on the link below this video. Just know that it means so much that we’re taking this journey together. So, keep the conversation going, let’s keep at it, keep the faith, and I thank you.
Does this mean that Sarah Palin has finally run her course through American politics, like a bad case of food poisoning?
Only time will tell. In the meanwhile, however, raise a glass and celebrate American Freedumb with Palin’s free and dumb content, beginning on August 1.
