Poor, poor, O’Connor family. This mob of good, loving, Bible-believing, Indiana Christians stood proudly and declared that their pizzeria will not provide full services to the LGBT community because (something, something) Bible — and they paid the price.
People all around the nation joined together to persecute them for their beliefs, with the rabid and hateful masses forcing them into a position that they were forced to close the doors to Memories Pizza. Their business was stolen by the PC crowd…
The reality is that this family business proved that Governor Mike Pence lied when he claimed his state’s new “religious freedom” law will not lead to discrimination. The O’Connors’ business became the first in the state to openly and unabashedly discriminate against the LGBT community.
“If a gay couple came in and wanted us to provide pizzas for their wedding, we would have to say no,” Crystal O’Conner said, citing the new law as her basis for enacting such a repulsive policy — though she denies discriminating against anyone. She and her family, according to O’Connor, are simply practicing their religion.
“We are a Christian establishment,” she explained. “We’re not discriminating against anyone, that’s just our belief and anyone has the right to believe in anything.”
O’Connor’s father, Kevin, complained that they were being forced to accept someone’s “choices”:
“That lifestyle is something they choose. I choose to be heterosexual. They choose to be homosexual. Why should I be beat over the head to go along with something they choose?”
Almost instantly, the business’s Yelp page filled with negative reviews, and some lovable sonofabitch purchased memoriespizza.com, advertising it as the “home of the d*ck pizza,” and filling the web site with hot dudes, rainbows, and a heaping hunk of phallus.
In less than one day, the family’s bigotry killed the business.
Obviously, some feel this family should be rewarded for their fight against the “gay agenda,” which consists of nothing more or less than equality for all. Glenn Beck’s publication, The Blaze set up a fundraiser for the family — one that has thus far rewarded them with more than $100,000.
“Christians need to stand up for each other. The only discrimination and hate I see going on here is from LGBT community,” Christopher Nieman, who gave $50 to the family of bigots, wrote on the GoFundMe. “Wise up people, they are trying to silence those who follow Christ. Not going to work with me.”
“Take that, liberal fascists!” wrote Jimmy Marks, who gave $10.
“Thank you for not backing down to the media after they made it look like you were monsters. Just sad how people want to force others to do against their religion. And If your not with them then you’re wrong,” wrote Lonnie Shetler, a $20 donor. “Truely uneducated people and terrible liberal media just possibly ruined a small Christian business. Thank you to Glenn beck and the blaze for stepping up and helping out”
“Why does a radical gay agenda supercede someones religious beliefs ?” wrote $8 donor Michael Wroblewski.
$25 donor Tobias Took left “A big FU to the Fascist Thought Police,” and $50 donor James Schumacher says he helped “because of the temper tantrum being thrown by the leftist socialist bigots.”
In other words, the GoFundMe is one big, swirling mass of Christian “love.”
Poor, poor victims.
