Elizabeth Warren Provides Cheese For Ted Cruz’s Whine In An Epic Take-Down (IMAGES)

Poor Ted Cruz. He haz a sad. You see, running for President is hard and Ted is starting to feel it. Between the long days, the lack of sleep, little family time and that darn liberal media, poor Ted felt that he needed to vent at his followers. What he got in return from progressive icon Elizabeth Warren probably wasn’t what he had bargained for.

The letter went out on Monday to supporters as a (surprise) fundraising ploy. In it, Cruz complains about the “significant sacrifice” he is making by running for president:

And while I’m on the verge of victory, I need to share something with you. The sacrifices of our campaign are steep, but I’m proud to be making them on your behalf.

Oh, how very magnanimous of him. The letter goes on about the issues that are making the campaign so very rough for poor Ted. The liberal media, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump — those meanies — attack him every day. He gripes that he doesn’t get to spend enough time with his family. He grouses about not getting enough sleep and not enough “personal time.” Why, you’d think that he had been dragged into doing this rather than choosing the path for himself.

Elizabeth Warren, not a fan of Cruz (putting it mildly) saw this manifesto of grievance and felt the need to respond. And, boy, how she responded. The Twitter tirade began with a copy of the letter:

Then, she Tweeted what we are all thinking:

She then proceeded to send several Tweets addressing the points in Cruz’s letter, ending with this stinger:

Over on Facebook, without the 140 character limitation, Warren got a head of steam up and proceeded to rip Cruz a new one:

Know whose sleep is limited? Working parents who do everything they can to save money but stay up at night worrying about how do get their kids through college without getting crushed by debt. Know who gets no personal time? People who work two minimum wage jobs to support their families. Know who gets no family time? Moms with unfair schedules who drop their kids off at daycare and drive halfway across town only to find their work hours have been cancelled.

Working Americans, she notes, do not get much “personal time” what with having to work so hard to take care of their families. Cruz, she points out, opposes mandatory paid family and medical leave. That’s “free stuff,” according to him. He opposes the minimum wage and cares nothing for fairness for workers.

Oh, and “constant attacks?” Yeah, let’s talk about your attacks on women, immigrants, Muslims, LGBT people and women. Cruz’s party loves to use us as pinatas while squawking about their “religious liberty.”

Warren ends with:

Senator Cruz — you chose to run for President. Working people don’t get a choice. Maybe you should spend less time complaining about your “significant sacrifices” — and more time trying to do something about theirs.

Ted, honey, if you can’t deal with it, then quit. If you can’t quit, then at least stop bellyaching about how hard it is to be a rich, white man running for President. You deserve everything Elizabeth Warren said to you and more. She didn’t even address your desire to turn the United States into a theocracy.

The funny things is, the GOP loves to brag about how tough it is. Ted Cruz is anything but tough. He’s a whiner and, worse, he uses it to fund-raise. What a wanker.
