Every now and then the conservative media does something so monumentally stupid that you can’t help but laugh. Such was the case today when Breitbart used a fake picture to make the turn out for one of Trump’s rallies look much better than it actually was.
This was the image used by Breitbart, supposedly showing the crowd at a Trump rally in Jacksonville. They claimed it proved 15,000 people had shown up:
Suffice it to say, that image was not a Trump rally. Not even close.
It didn’t take long for them to get busted on the bogus photo. It turns out this picture wasn’t even taken anywhere near Jacksonville, let alone at any event dealing with Trump. The crowd in this image was gathered in Cleveland, Ohio to celebrate the NBA championship. Last month.
Once they’re not so clever ruse was discovered, Breitbart promptly changed the picture.
But the Internet is forever and this hilarious attempt to inflate the turnout for Trump’s rally will definitely go down as a YUUUUUGE fail. Conservatives are getting downright desperate as they continue to watch their candidate self-destruct in front of their very eyes and now they are simply grasping at straws, even if they have to invent them. It would be kind of sad if only it wasn’t so damn funny.
