Dumb And Dumber: Trump Met With Former VP Dan Quayle Today

They say if you want to look competent, surround yourself with idiots. Well, Trump may just have found his man.
According to the press corps stationed outside Trump Tower in New York City Tuesday afternoon, an “unidentified man” was spotted entering the building with Trump’s Campaign manager and advisor, Kellyanne Conway, at 1:47 p.m.

Well, the mystery man turned out to be none other than Dan Quayle.

That’s right, the former Vice President walked right past the press and no one recognized him! The only possible reason Trump would be talking to the insignificant Quayle, we hope, is that the Pres-elect is tired of being the least informed person in the room when it comes to, well anything.

Quayle served under former President George. H. W. Bush from 1989 to 1993, but was most known for his mindless ramblings that could only be compared to Trump.

Perhaps Trump needs some help drumming up ridiculous quotes to tweet. I doubt it, but if he does, Quayle could definitely be his go-to-guy.

If you’re too young to remember, or if like most Americans, you’ve tried your best to block this man from your memory, here is a refresher of some of the most stupid Quayle Quotes. You’ll soon understand why a Trump-Quayle pairing of any kind would be disastrous.

The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation’s history. I mean, we all lived in this century. I didn’t live in this century, but in this century’s history.

We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a part of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe. We are a part of Europe.

I understand the importance of bondage between parent and child.

We’re going to have the best-educated American people in the world.

What a waste it is to lose one’s mind. Or not to have a mind is being very wasteful. How true that is.

I stand by all the misstatements that I’ve made.

I believe we are on an irreversible trend towards more freedom and democracy, but that could change.

People that are really very weird can get into sensitive positions and have a tremendous impact on history.

The global importance of the Middle East is that it keeps the Far East and the Near East from encroaching on each other.

Bank failures are caused by depositors who don’t deposit enough money to cover losses due to mismanagement.

This is truly, but a sample. If you want more, give Tina Dupoy’s Twitter advice a try:

When it comes to Trump’s cabinet appointments, the hits just keep on coming… let’s hope he just wants Quayle to be his water boy.
