Sarah Palin decided to excuse her own terrible parenting and complete absence from her son’s life during a point where he beat up his girlfriend in a drunken rage, before making threats with an AR-15 assault rifle. Instead, she has declared that the person who is truly responsible is Barack Obama.
Sarah Palin suggests that President Obama has “done things,” she doesn’t specify what – that makes her son and other veterans question if Obama and the rest of the nation still respect them. She seems to be implying that her son’s PTSD has been personally caused by President Obama who has made being a veteran suddenly “uncool” and this drove her son to beat the hell out of his girlfriend, while drunk, and make suicidal actions with an assault rifle.
This is no secret to Sarah that her son has PTSD. He lives with her. She also allows him access to firearms and alcohol. She could afford to get him help, but apparently she has not gotten him enough, if any. I bet it’s all still Obama’s fault, though, because of course it is.
It’s worth noting that during this crisis in her son’s life, Sarah decided to stay in Iowa where she is parading herself around like the village idiot at a clown convention while continuing to endorse Donald Trump for president. You know, most parents who cared about their kids would go take care of them. Instead, she decided to stay in Iowa and exploit his very serious problems for her own personal gain by blaming them on Obama. Seriously… What the F**K?
Palin’s comments so far about the situation are below:
I can talk personally about this, I guess it’s kind of the elephant in the room. My son like so many others, they come back a bit different, they come back hardened, they come back wondering if there is that respect for what it is that their fellow soldiers and airmen and every other member of the military so sacrificially have given to this country. And that starts from the top. It’s a shame that our military personnel even have to wonder, if they have to question, if they’re respected anymore. It starts from the top. The question though that comes from our own president where they have to look at him and wonder, do you know what we go through? Do you know what we’re trying to do to secure America and to secure the freedoms that have been bequeathed us?
I can certainly relate with other familes who kind of feel these ramifications of some PTSD and some of the woundedness that our soldiers do return with. And it makes me realize more than ever it is now or never for the sake of Americas finest that we have that commander in chief that will respect them and honor them.
There is really nothing more that can be added, regarding her statement, that it doesn’t already say on its own. Go the hell home Sarah, for the sake of your son’s life.
