This was the lie that broke the camel’s back.
After repeated warnings to Trump’s advisor Kellyanne Conway to rein in her continuous, flagrant lies, CNN says it is considering permanently banning her from its coveted Sunday morning shows. Her latest whopper pushed the network over the edge.
This week, it was reported that in an act of spite, Trump refused to allow Vice President Mike Pence to go onto CNN. He was booked, and promptly appeared on, several of the other news networks. Meanwhile, as a petty gesture, the White House offered Kellyanne Conway to CNN. Not only does Conway pale in comparison to booking the Vice President, she has absolutely zero credibility left. Her lies are legendary, including an instantly viral one mourning the victims of the “Bowling Green Massacre” - a fictional mass shooting committed by fictional refugees to justify Trump’s very real Muslim ban.
CNN took one look at Conway and said “No thanks.”
To which, Conway responded with… you guessed it… yet another lie.

In Conway’s telling, she had “family” things to do this weekend. Which is interesting, because CNN says it has the receipts.

And even more humiliating for Conway, MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski jumped into the conversation to state that MSNBC also rejected Conway this weekend.

Awkward.
The New York Times is reporting that the network is considering a permanent ban on Kellyanne Conway over these ridiculous lies.
Some, like the New York University journalism professor Jay Rosen, were calling upon the television networks to stop booking her. And CNN declined to have her as a guest on Sunday — in part because the Trump administration offered her in lieu of Vice President Mike Pence, but also because of what the network told me were “serious questions about her credibility.”
As the Trump advisor continues to debase herself with Trump misinformation, the network has all the ammo it needs to get rid of her forever. She offers nothing of value and only seeks to mislead the public.
