Michele Bachmann (R), is a Tea Party extremist and is considered by many to be a certifiable religious wackadoodle. There is little wonder then why she would consider equal protections for LGBT people to be actual tyranny when she is honestly under the delusion that the Founding Fathers somehow channeled “God’s form of Government;” presumably, like the Biblical Prophets wrote the Bible.
Bachman’s deeply held beliefs and the strange behavior caused by the fundamentalist’s views that the Earth will soon be destroyed by God, which mean that she gets to go to heaven if she hates the gays — cause a very twisted belief structure indeed.
Basically, she is saying that since God hates gays, his government doesn’t find them deserving of equal protections.
Bachmann is living proof that fundamentalism, compassion and the ability to comprehend reality just do not occur together very often, if ever. Here she is, prattling on about, well about something:
That’s what’s so brilliant about our form of government and God’s form of government, that we are equal before the law. God’s says He’s not a respecter of persons, He’s not partial, so why should we, why should government be partial? … A creator God created us equal.
