With the exception of Russia and Trump’s BFF Putin, there doesn’t seem to be a single Western democracy or allied nation that likes Donald Trump. Over the summer, the people of Scotland absolutely demolished Trump for his ignorant comments regarding the #Brexit vote. At one point, the U.K.’s parliament briefly considered banning Trump from visiting. And Mexico’s president fired his minister who invited Trump to the country.
Here is what a Reuters report found earlier this year when it came to foreign leaders feelings toward Trump:
“The responses have ranged from amusement to befuddlement to curiosity,” one of the officials told Reuters. “In some cases, we’ve heard expressions of alarm, but those have been more in response to the anti-immigrant and anti-refugee sentiment as well as the general sense of xenophobia.”
Now we can add Australia to the list.
Australia’s elected officials decided it was their turn to express a complete and utter disgust of Trump and a crushing fear of him actually getting elected President of the United States.
Guardian Australia reports that the New South Wales upper house has officially condemned Donald J. Trump as “a revolting slug unfit for office” for his comments that “clearly describe sexual assault.” The motion passed unanimously.
Ouch! Trump meltdown incoming in 3…2…1.
