Youtuber Vito Gesualdi, a “self professed rebel against his politically-correct oppressors who uses his trademark brand of sardonic wit and complete disregard for societal norms” decided to take the Pepsi challenge. The challenge was inspired by their tone-deaf commercial where Kendall Jenner uses a Pepsi to bridge the gap between protesters and police.
He arrived with 3 packs of Pepsi ready to “heal the divide” during the planned protest.
In his first attempt, an officer intervened, explaining he could not enter due to the possibility that the soda cans could “be used as projectiles.” After managing to sneak past security, though, he sees, firsthand, people using Pepsi cans as projectiles more than anything. Hell, he even people using bagels as projectiles there.
Out of curiosity, he asked everyone what was their favorite drink? Pepsi was dead even with Budweiser and merlot. The officers Gesualdi spoke to said Pepsi was the last thing on their minds, with many looking at him in total disbelief and even one exclaiming, “Totally bad for you!”
The video currently has over 2. 4 million views with many quoting Gesualdi as saying:
“People are so divided we can’t even hand over a soft drink in this country.”
I wonder if he stills has those 50 cans of Pepsi at house. I’m a little thirsty.
