If you’ve been wondering why Donald Trump seems to believe that certain people are genetically inferior, it’s because he actually believes in racial superiority.
With Trump calling all Mexicans rapists, drug dealers and murderers, anyone from the Middle East terrorists, or any of the other bagillion horrific things he has said about various groups of people — and especially with his recent open coddling of white supremacist groups — it’s important to remember that he has actually said he believes some groups of people are genetically better off than others.
The 2016 documentary “The Choice” highlights footage of Trump talking about genetics — the basis for his disdain for that whole “all men are created equal” thing:
“All men are created equal; well, it’s not true, ’cause some are smart, some aren’t,” Trump says in one clip, adding that “you have to have the right genes” to be successful.”
“I’m a gene believer …,” Trump says in another. “I’m proud to have that German blood. There’s no question about it. Great stuff,” he actually says out loud in another clip.
“Some people cannot genetically handle pressure,” another clip shows The Donald saying.
“The family subscribes to a racehorse theory of human development,” Trump biographer Michael D’Antonio says in the documentary. “They believe that there are superior people and that if you put together the genes of a superior woman and a superior man, you get a superior offspring.”
The next time your Trump-supporting friends (if you have any left) start talking about how he wants to be President for ALL Americans, remind them that he doesn’t feel people with “bad genes” are of any value:
“All men are created equal? Well, it’s not true!”
