It turns out that Donald Trump knows a lot about Russia after all.
Of course, Trump’s various business ties confirm that, but a new video discovered by CNN makes it clear that Trump’s ties go far deeper.
Earlier this week, Trump Jr. confirmed that he colluded with Russia in an effort to help his father win the 2016 Election by releasing his email conversation setting up the meeting.
In the emails, Trump Jr. is told about “incriminating” intel that the Russian government can provide Trump’s campaign with to use against Hillary Clinton. The email specifically states that this damaging information is meant to help Trump win the election.
The Russian lawyer Trump Jr. met with is connected to the Kremlin, as are the two individuals named in the emails, Emin and Aras Agalarov, the latter of whom is a wealthy oligarch who is close friends with Vladimir Putin.
Donald Trump has repeatedly denied that he has anything to do with Russia and that he knows nothing about Russia.
And so, CNN blew that series of lies to smithereens on Wednesday by obtaining video proof demonstrating that Trump not only knows all about Russia, he knows the individuals involved in Trump Jr’s email scandal and he apparently knows them well enough to pal around with them.
In the video, Trump is seen carousing with the Agalarovs, and at one point, he evens brags in front of the cameras that “these are the most powerful people in all of Russia, the richest men in Russia.”
Trump also had dinner with them, and Rob Goldstone was there as well. Goldstone is the intermediary who reached out to Trump Jr. on behalf of the Agalarovs.
Video footage also proves that Trump’s relationship with the Agalarovs was more than “casual” as Trump Jr. claims. Trump personally appeared in a music video for Emin Agalarov and wished him a happy birthday on Instagram.
Here’s the video via YouTube.
Clearly, Trump knows these Russians professionally and personally, which means he just got caught lying about his Russia ties again. And this time, it should get him impeached.
