Donald Trump has had his sights set on a second term from the minute he stepped foot in the White House. Seemingly oblivious to all facts — like the part where he lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton by millions, or that his approval rating continues to plummet to new historical lows on a weekly basis — Trump’s ridiculous 2020 re-election campaign is still in full swing. However, he might not actually need it after all.
Trump’s first wife, Ivana, shocked Americans during an interview on “The Ray D’Arcy Show” recently when she stated that Trump isn’t likely to try to get re-elected.
Having been married to Trump first and as the mother of his three eldest children, there’s likely no one who knows Trump better than Ivana — and she bluntly stated that the president is “missing a little bit of his old life.” Ivana said:
You know he was in Trump Tower, and he would go to Mar-a-Lago, he would go to play golf on Westchester, and things like that. Now… from eight o’clock in the morning to midnight, he’s working, working, working, and everybody shoves at him the problem of the country. I don’t envy him. I think he must be freaking exhausted.”
Considering the massive amounts of vacations and golf outings Trump has embarked on to escape his responsibilities as President of the United States, Ivana’s prediction that Trump will have no interest in a 2020 election seems spot on. Now if only he would resign from his first term…
