Trump Went ‘Ballistic’ In The Oval Office - Embarrassing Tantrum Details Immediately Leaked To Press

Trump is coming apart in front of the nation’s eyes. Both publicly and privately, the president has behaved with terrifyingly erratic behavior that suggests a complete mental breakdown may be imminent. Just ask his closest advisors, who watched Trump go “ballistic” in the Oval Office and were so disconcerted that they immediately leaked the story to the press.

Before heading off to his so-called “winter White House” in Palm Beach, Florida, on Friday, President Donald Trump summoned some of his senior staff to the Oval Office and went “ballistic,” senior White House sources told ABC News.

Even more frightening than Trump’s temper is what is causing it. Instead of being furious that his own inept, unethical team had betrayed not only his trust but the country’s best interests by repeatedly lying about their contact with Russian officials, Trump was mad that they kept getting caught - and kept suffering consequences.

Like with disgraced former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, Trump told his staff that he didn’t find anything in Sessions’ conduct to be wrong. He was just upset that Session and Flynn caved to protests. During his Oval Office meltdown, sources told ABC that Trump was most angry about Session listening to Congress and stepping away from a potential Russia investigation.

Sources said the president felt Sessions’ recusal was unnecessary and only served to embolden Trump’s political opponents. The attorney general made his announcement Thursday just as Trump returned to Washington from a trip to the U.S.S. Gerald Ford in Virginia for a speech about his agenda as president.

Apparently Trump was hoping Sessions would serve as his man on the inside of a Russian investigation. Now an independent investigator will be brought in and won’t play defense for Trump’s administration.

ABC also noted a cryptic detail about Trump’s actions later that day.

As President Trump was in the air aboard Marine One headed for Air Force One on the tarmac at Joint Base Andrews, a last-minute phone call was made from the West Wing to the team on board the president’s plane with a directive to remove Priebus and Bannon from the manifest, sources said. They would not be coming to the Sunshine State.

The entire Trump team appears to be falling apart.

The pressure is clearing getting to Trump himself. While his Friday meltdown was in secret, his Saturday meltdown was anything but. On Twitter, Trump baselessly accused former President Obama of ordering a wiretap on Trump Tower during the election. He backed up his allegation with zero proof, but was referring to a false story he read on Breitbart. Obama’s staff has since come out and blasted Trump’s allegations as patently false.

Republicans who have enabled Trump for so long now have a duty to help stop him as his mental health deteriorates on a daily basis. No amount of “party loyalty” or promised tax cuts are worth this man staying in office a second longer.
