Trump is on a roll with his rage-tweeting today. Earlier he tweeted that professional athletes who won’t stand for the national anthem should be fired and find something else to do. Now he’s up in arms about John McCain’s refusal to vote for the GOP’s last-ditch effort to pass Trumpcare. Yesterday, McCain said he couldn’t, in good conscience, vote for the bill, which put it on life support. Trump is obviously unhappy about that.
So he said:
Democrats are laughingly saying that McCain had a “moment of courage.” Tell that to the people of Arizona who were deceived. 116% increase!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 23, 2017
McCain “had a moment of courage.” John McCain has had more than one moment of courage in his life. He’s battling brain cancer while trying to continue doing his job. He actually did serve his country, unlike Trump, who got five deferments for absolutely bullshit reasons and has never served anyone but himself, including during his time in the White House. McCain fought and defended the U.S. Constitution, and Trump refuses to even follow it except when it’s convenient.
And Twitter is pouncing on him for it, as well they should:

Trump attacks American Patriots more fervently than he does the Russians who hacked our election.

McCain = COURAGE
Trump = COWARDThat pretty much sums it up!

Sen McCain has given a lifetime of courage, and sacrifices. All the while you live a life of priviledge, decadence, and draft deferments.

Seems that Senator McCain has had courage all his life, not just a moment. That’s why most Americans refer to him as a hero.
— John Rossi Attorney (@JohnRossiAtty) September 23, 2017
McCain has had many moments of courage. U on the other hand have done nothing 4 this country. Show respect 4 someone who is military vet! FU

Courage is standing up against a bill that would harm us, a bill that your own party admits is bad.
— OXBALLS (@OxBalls) September 23, 2017
Or maybe we’re applauding someone who attempts to help people, as opposed to those who would harm Americans to fulfill a campaign promise.
— StevenBoyer (@SteveBoyer5000) September 23, 2017
Democrats are laughing in sheer joy and relief that McCain is putting America first, before party and BEFORE YOU. That must sting.

Time to RESPECT @SenJohnMcCain !! Has done more you will EVER DO for the USA !! #stayCLASSY

We weren’t laughing. Some of us were overcome with emotion and crying, because a GOP politician put Country first. You should try it.

You lash out at people who don’t do what you want when you’re losing. It’s not even childish; children are more mature.

Trump lacks the dignity and maturity to use social media. High schoolers have better sense than he does.
— Dani Bostick (@danibostick) September 23, 2017
And let’s remind Trump and his MAGAsh*ts that McCain is a hero to him when he believes McCain is on his side:
Senator McCain is both brave – battling cancer! and protecting health care from Trump and an American Hero
