Donald Trump does really stupid things while interacting with world leaders. You know like, tell them top secret information and a lot of times lie. This particular time, he put a world leader on hold to compliment a woman’s smile. Can’t make this stuff up.
Tuesday while on the phone with new Irish Prime Minister, Leo Varadkar, to congratulate him on his victory, The President was distracted by the smile of a young journalist that he took a pause on the congrats and let her know. Even calling her to the front of the press conference. He starts out saying,
“We have a lot of your Irish Press watching us.”
Then he can’t keep his eyes off the Irish journalist in question, Caitriona Perry, and he says to her in the middle of the phone call,
“And where are you from? Go ahead, come here, come here. Where are you from? We have all of this beautiful Irish press. She has a nice smile on her face. So I know she treats you well.”
Even that type of compliment from Mr. grab ’em by the pu**y should be an insult. According to The Hill, this is not the first time he’s gotten a little too comfortable with female reporters. He famously tangled with Megyn Kelly, then of Fox News Channel, during his campaign for the White House. He also singled out NBC News’s Katy Tur, whom he would sometimes refer to as “Little Katy” during campaign rallies.
Someone, ANYONE. Get Trump some etiquette training, please. View moment below
