A Washington Post/ABC poll released on Sunday showed that alleged president Donald Trump has the lowest approval rating at this point of any president since the polling began in 1945 – with 42 percent of respondents approving of his performance so far, while 53 percent disapproved. That poll follows literally every single survey which concludes that Trump is hugely unpopular. For example, also on Sunday, an NBC poll showed that only 40 percent approve of Trump’s job performance, marking a 4 percentage-point drop from February. In contrast, 54 percent of respondents disapproved.
That was just too much for the former reality show star to handle. “New polls out today are very good considering that much of the media is FAKE and almost always negative. Would still beat Hillary in …..,” Trump tweeted.

Seven minutes later Trump finished his sentence. “…popular vote. ABC News/Washington Post Poll (wrong big on election) said almost all stand by their vote on me & 53% said strong leader,” he added.

We’re not sure what “wrong big on election” means in Trump’s tweet because we do not speak Turnip here.
Because facts matter, we’ll go through this again. More Americans voted for Hillary Clinton than any other losing presidential candidate in U.S. history. Clinton outperformed Trump by nearly 2.9 million votes and the alleged president has never gotten over that.
NBC noted that President Barack Obama had a 61 percent approval rating near his 100-day mark. President George W. Bush had a 56 percent approval rating and President Bill Clinton’s had 52 percent.
Noticeably, while Trump touted the one good thing about him in the poll, he left out an important part of it. Trump mentioned that 53 percent consider him to be a strong leader, but the poll states that that “compares with 77 percent for Obama at this stage.”
What in the hell does Trump mean when he says he “would still beat Hillary in (the) popular vote”? He lost the popular vote, but if he’s suggesting we redo the election, we’re down with that!
