Everyone knows that Donald Trump loves to watch Fox News – one only has to look through his Twitter feed to know that the undeserving POTUS has a soft spot for conservative networks that are willing to lie to Americans. However, a new report by the Washington Post has just revealed some very disturbing information about Trump’s relationship with television, and it proves Trump cannot stay focused on his presidency.
According to the Post, Trump is 100% addicted to cable news, and it’s gotten so bad that one top GOP strategist described it as “bizarre to the point of alarming.” And that’s not all. Trump apparently brags to everyone that he has “the world’s best TiVo.”
Trump’s daily routine actually revolves around the news – in the morning, Trump religiously bounces between Fox News, Fox Business, CNBC, and MSNBC. Throughout the day, Trump keeps tabs on these shows, frequently watching broadcasts outside the Oval Office. At night, Trump practically binges on primetime shows so he can “hate-watch.”
It’s no wonder that nothing is getting done in Trump’s administration, and whenever they do try to push their agenda, the implementation is so sloppy and flawed that it fails. Trump spends no time doing his actual job, between his cable news addiction and golf vacations. Republican strategist Rick Wilson said:
“A number of Republicans in Congress and in establishment party circles find the president’s habits bizarre to the point of alarming.”
Wilson also called Trump “a TV character to [the Republican establishment], and they have to navigate around it.”
It is a tragedy that the man in the White House has no intention of actually leading the country, and cares far more what cable news reporters are saying about him than actually improving the country and delivering the results he bragged so much about. Trump is a disgrace and he is not fit for office.
