Trump Gets Shut Down After Lying About Quincy Jones Attending His Sad New Year’s Eve Party

Donald Trump and his team just can’t stop making stuff up. Most recently, they decided to lie about Quincy Jones coming to Trump’s New Year’s Eve party. But it didn’t take for the legendary music producer to set the record straight.

Trump spokesman Sean Spicer claimed on Friday that Jones would be one of about 800 guests attending Trump’s New Year’s Eve shindig at his Mar-a-Lago resort. He noted that Melania and Barron are slated to ring in the new year at the party as well, which will feature a cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dancing in the grand ballroom. But, as is usual with Trump, this story turned out to be a load of crap.

Jones’s spokesman, Arnold Robinson, called Trump out for his lie just hours later. Jones said that hell could freeze over and he still wouldn’t be willing to hang out with the KKK endorsed president-elect. Okay, so he didn’t say it quite like that. But he did say that he plans to spend New Year’s Eve in Los Angelos with his family. His spokesman added that they had no idea how Trump’s team could have gotten the idea that he would be attending.

It is no secret that Jones is a staunch Democrat. He has been a longtime supporter of Democratic candidates, including Hillary Clinton, whose campaign he donated to during this last election cycle.

Apparently, Trump and his team just make things up as they go along. He has lied more than once about being involved in deals that keep jobs here in America, twice taking credit for decisions that were already made and he had nothing at all to do with. And we thought it was bad when he stole pictures and made up a fake African-American family to support his bid for the presidency.

He’s not even good at lying. But for some reason, no matter how many times he gets busted and publicly humiliated, he just can’t tell the truth.
