Former reality show star Donald Trump doesn’t seem to understand that his party controls the Senate, the House of Representatives and the presidency. On Friday, Trump claimed that eight Democrats control the Senate. “If Senate Republicans don’t get rid of the Filibuster Rule and go to a 51% majority, few bills will be passed. 8 Dems control the Senate!” the amateur “president” tweeted.

However, just two tweets later, as if he wasn’t aware of his previous tweet, he wrote, “Few, if any, Administrations have done more in just 7 months than the Trump A. Bills passed, regulations killed, border, military, ISIS, SC!”

When on the campaign trail, Trump said he would quickly defeat ISIS, so he obviously thinks we’ve forgotten about that. Also, it’s not the amount of bills passed that counts, it’s the significance of the bills. Trump’s, thus far, have been of little significance. Signing pieces of paper is not a great accomplishment. Trump has been trying to eradicate any bills with former President Barack Obama’s name on them, even though many of them are good for this country and good for jobs.
As for the border, Mexico is supposed to pay for the border wall, according to Trump in 2016. It’s now 2017, and he wants taxpayers to fund his ego-wall or he will shut the government down. As for South Carolina, we have no idea what he’s talking about. He needs to be specific. As for the military, the transgender ban isn’t going down well. After Trump’s appalling remarks on Charlottesville, his top generals tweeted out criticisms, like, for example, that the Nazi march in Trump’s name is against “our Values and everything we’ve stood for since 1775.”
That tweet was penned by Mark A Milley, the Unite States Army Chief of Staff.
There is something Trump has accomplished. Trump has told 1,000 false or misleading statements in just 8 months time. In addition, no other administration has been plagued with scandals in such a short time. Congratulations for that, Mr. Trump.
