Trump Caught Bragging About How Intelligent He Is; This Is Classic

Donald Trump is a highly intelligent man, according to Donald Trump. We all remember that he challenged Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to an IQ contest but later said it was just a jokey joke after Mensa offered to host the event. Well, on Wednesday, Trump took questions from reporters before boarding Marine One to head to Dallas, Texas for a campaign fundraiser at taxpayer expense.

“You know, people don’t understand. I went to an Ivy League college. I was a nice student. I did very well,” the former reality show star said in response to a question about whether he should be more civil.

Then, of course, Trump said the “press makes me more uncivil than I am.”

Sure, the media forces Trump to unleash typo-ridden tweets, and makes him say that he spoke with the President of the U.S. Virgin Islands, which is, in fact, him. The press must have forced Trump to not know the location of Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory.

“I’m a very intelligent person. You know, the fact is, I think, I really believe, I think the press creates a different image of Donald Trump than the real person,” he said.

During the campaign, Trump bragged that has “the best words.” Well, if Trump has them we don’t know why he doesn’t use them.

Trump’s lack of civility may have come up due to his treatment of a Gold Star widow after her husband Sgt. La David Johnson was killed in Niger earlier this month. Trump basically called Myeshia Johnson a liar after she said the so-called president couldn’t even remember her husband’s name. Or his civility, or lack thereof, may be in reference to his Twitter timeline in which he blasts off attacks to anyone critical of him, like, for example, calling Bob Corker (R-TN) “Liddle” in order to disparage the Tennessee Republican’s height.

Or, it could be his tweets this morning in which he lashed out at Corker and Jeff Flake. Or it could be how he brings up ‘Crooked Hillary Clinton’ repeatedly when his own misgivings are reported. I could do this all day.
