Trump was in Florida during his third straight weekend vacation, and while stopping in what is being described as his first 2020 campaign rally he once again proved that he is incapable of thinking of anyone but himself.
While descending the stairs of Air Force One, Trump walked ahead of his wife Melania. Reaching the bottom, he didn’t wait for her, instead he immediately hopped into the waiting car. Seconds later, Melania seems to realize that Trump took the seat closest and wasn’t going to move over. She then had to walk around the car and get in the other side by herself.

What a lovely person Trump is.
This isn’t the first time Trump has left his own wife hanging. During his inauguration, Trump strode alone into the White House leaving Barack and Michelle Obama to wait behind for Melania so she didn’t feel abandoned.

Is it normal for presidents to ignore their spouses? No. Here’s Obama on his inauguration showing a basic decency and mutual respect for his wife. They are the First Family, after all. The time in office is meant to be a partnership of sorts. Trump’s body language routinely suggests he does not consider Melania to be his partner in anything.
Trump’s lack of concern or even awareness for his wife may explain why sources close to Melania describe her as “miserable” since Trump took office.
“Melania is unhappy with how her life ended up,” alleges a family source. “She is miserable.”
Trump, a narcissist, seems unconcerned with the well-being of others around him - including his wife. If this behavior continues, it’s going to be a long four years for Melania. And Trump is apparently already thinking about his re-election. The thought must be as terrifying for her as it is for the rest of us.
