Thursday morning, Donald Trump dropped another bombshell on the already-devastated island of Puerto Rico: He’s done helping.
In a series of tweets, Trump quoted right-wing broadcaster Sharyl Attkisson, who he loves because she too claims she was hacked by Obama:
“Puerto Rico survived the Hurricanes, now a financial crisis looms largely of their own making.” says Sharyl Attkisson. A total lack of…..

…accountability say the Governor. Electric and all infrastructure was disaster before hurricanes. Congress to decide how much to spend….

…We cannot keep FEMA, the Military & the First Responders, who have been amazing (under the most difficult circumstances) in P.R. forever!

I mean, not to be too nitpicky about this or anything, but wasn’t Trump, um… A little late getting there in the first place? Didn’t we just hear about FEMA not even bringing food and water to completely accessible areas of the island? It’s not like the Trump administration did a whole lot for tiny Puerto Rico. After he told them they should be thankful that so few people died, the death toll doubled. FEMA actually began removing bad news about how things were going in Puerto Rico from their website.
The Mayor of San Juan, the now-famous Carmen Yulín Cruz, shot back once again at the president of both White America and puertorriqueño America:
@POTUS It is not that you do not get it; you are incapable of fulfilling the moral imperative to help the people of PR. Shame on you.!

Mayor Cruz hits the nail on the head. Donald Trump isn’t ignorant of the plight of those still without power or drinking water on the storm-torn island. It’s just that he doesn’t care.
