U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has sparked online controversy over a tweet praising cuts made by the Trump administration to the organization’s peacekeeping budget.
“Just 5 months into our time here, we’ve cut over half a billion $$$ from the UN peacekeeping budget & we’re only getting started.”

During a subcommittee hearing, Haley said that the U.S. is aiming to cut the country’s contribution to the peacekeeping budget to 25% of total costs from its current level of 28.5%, according to a Bloomberg report. “
“I have seen value in the U.N.,” the ambassador said, “and at the same time the U.N. has fat around the edges.”
Haley is publicly admitting that the Trump administration could not be more proud of the fact that they are violating human rights and essentially leaving millions of Americans out to fend for themselves.
Her tweet received a wave of responses from Twitter, with many criticizing Haley’s tone as appearing congratulatory of the budget cuts:
Whatever God you profess to believe in, do you think they’ll look kindly upon you for this?

This boast from Nikki Haley is one of the more insane and disturbing things I’ve seen from the Trump gang yet.

Of course you are, because who needs peacekeeping when you can refuse to fund it and blame the other party!

and then you wonder why you are booed…

And this is something to be PROUD about??

Time and time again, the Trump administration has proven that they rather have people die and blame it on Democrats than actually doing something to prevent destruction from happening. Typical Republicans.
