Trump ADMITS He Spoke With Putin; Thinks Private Collusion Is Totally Fine (TWEETS)

If there’s one thing Donald Trump is good at, it’s saying and doing the wrong thing pretty much all of the time. He seems to have zero respect for the safety, security and integrity of the United States, and this behavior has been displayed time and time again.

It is now being reported that in addition to the documented meeting Trump had with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, there was a second meeting that no one was aware of, nor was it documented.

According to The Washington Post:

“The second meeting, undisclosed at the time, took place at a dinner for G-20 leaders, a senior administration official said. At some point during the meal, Trump left his own seat to occupy a chair next to Putin. Trump approached alone, and Putin was attended only by his official interpreter.”

Further:

“In a statement issued Tuesday night after published reports of the conversation, the White House said that “there was no ‘second meeting’ between President Trump and President Putin, just a brief conversation at the end of a dinner. The insinuation that the White House has tried to ‘hide’ a second meeting,” it said, “is false, malicious and absurd.””

However, that simply doesn’t seem to be the case whatsoever.

WaPo reports:

“The dinner conversation with Putin was first reported Monday by Ian Bremmer, president of the New York-based Eurasia Group, in a newsletter to group clients. Bremmer said the meeting began “halfway” into the meal and lasted “roughly an hour.” The senior administration official said it began with the dessert course, but did not comment on its length.”

Trump, however, decided he would try and be his own publicist once again and try to spin this undisclosed meeting as a nonstory that we shouldn’t be concerned with.

Trump tweeted out:

“Fake News story of secret dinner with Putin is “sick.” All G 20 leaders, and spouses, were invited by the Chancellor of Germany. Press knew!”

However, if the “press knew,” then they would have reported on it at the time. And they would have. Trump added:

“The Fake News is becoming more and more dishonest! Even a dinner arranged for top 20 leaders in Germany is made to look sinister!”

No, Donnie. It’s not the dinner that’s sinister, it’s the second meeting you had with a foreign adversary where the only other person in attendance was a translator from the Kremlin.

If Trump is trying to make himself not look guilty of colluding, he’s not doing a very good job of it.
