Despite what Donald Trump wants everyone to think, nothing is going well in the White House right now, thanks to his son Donald Trump Jr. Yesterday, Trump tried to convince Americans that everything was fine on Twitter – a lie that has just been completely shattered by one of his own top White House officials.

Thanks to a new TIME magazine cover story, the insides of the Trump administration during this extremely chaotic time are being exposed for all to see. Not only does the cover of the story sport the face of Trump’s son with the headline “Red Handed — The Russia Scandal Hits Home”, but people are leaking insider info once again.

This is the new cover: Don Jr. — “Red Handed”

The cover story, written by David Von Drehle, talks about Trump Jr.’s ironic email scandal and how the POTUS’ moronic son met with a Russian lawyer in an attempt to get damaging information about Hillary Clinton during the presidential campaign. Drehle’s piece examines the full scope of what is happening to Trump’s team as the administration falls apart. Apparently, things are pretty bad. Drehle wrote:

For advisers to a would-be President to take at face value an offer of clandestine assistance from Moscow is foolish at best, reckless for sure and potentially treasonous in the worst-case scenario.”

According to Drehle, Trump’s son could be guilty of going against the “Bentsen amendment,” which prohibits the sharing of information between political campaigns and foreign countries. This might be a long shot, but Drehle says there is a more likely option:

A more plausible charge is obstruction of justice.”

Trump and his administration must know how screwed they are, because Trump has been extremely “frustrated” with the scandal’s latest blow-up, and the mood in the White House is “weary and grim.” Never one to take responsibility for his actions or those of his idiotic family members, Trump is apparently “blaming longtime personal attorney Marc Kasowitz for the team’s failure to put an end to his woes.”

In Drehle’s report is this gem, in which White House officials are basically accepting that the administration is f*cked. Drehle wrote:

It all adds up, in the words of a senior Administration official, to a “sh-tstorm” that no White House staffer even tries to deny.”
