Tomi Lahren Breaks The Internet With Dumbest Idea Ever To Replace Obamacare

Just one hour after the GOP’s awful Senate health care bill failed after losing two more votes from Republicans, amateur president Donald Trump called on Republicans in Congress to fully repeal Obamacare now and work on a replacement later. Republicans had seven years to come up with a replacement plan but they failed and instead, offered Americans a shit sandwich. It would have taken 50 votes for an outright repeal of the Affordable Care Act, and Republicans only hold a 52-seat majority and a full repeal without a viable replacement isn’t popular among centrists in the GOP.

But don’t worry because conservative political commentator Tomi Lahren came up with a solution and she tweeted it in Republican caps so it must be a good idea.

“REPEAL OBAMACARE. REPLACE WITH LIBERTY. #GreatAmerica,” she tweeted.

We’re wondering how that would work. After surgery when presented with a bill of $49,000 for a simple procedure do we look at the person in the billing office of the hospital and say, “I’m covered. Charge it to Liberty!”

Well, Twitter users didn’t get how that works either.

I don’t usually look up a person’s net worth but when a conservative offers you nothing except for taking your health care away, then it’s kind of important. Lahren has a net worth of $3 million so we’re pretty sure that she won’t have to face the problems millions of Americans will if Obamacare is repealed without a suitable replacement.

Let’s put this in perspective (and I really hate writing about myself). I’m undergoing a certain treatment for a disease. It’s a pre-existing condition so I’d be totally screwed if I wasn’t insured as would the 3.2 million Americans who also have this disease. The cost of the pills for a 12-week period would total more than $95,500, or $1,000 per pill. Tomi could afford to pay that if she found herself suddenly uninsured but most Americans could not. And “LIBERTY” won’t pay for it.
