Fake news ‘President’ Donald Trump tweeted out fake news again on Wednesday while Hurricane Irma is barreling down on the Atlantic. The former reality show star calls out networks which are critical of him to label them as ‘fake news’ but he is the main purveyor of false information. With Trump in such a powerful position, he should already know the tax rates ahead of his upcoming trip to North Dakota to discuss tax reform. Nevertheless, Trump again claimed that the U.S. is the highest taxed nation in the world, despite data to the contrary.
“Will be going to North Dakota today to discuss tax reform and tax cuts,” he tweeted. “We are the highest taxed nation in the world – that will change.”
Will be going to North Dakota today to discuss tax reform and tax cuts. We are the highest taxed nation in the world – that will change.
