Donald Trump has been receiving an enormous amount of backlash for his controversial links to Russia from every direction–including alcohol companies.
Recently, Smirnoff Vodka released a new ad campaign that makes fun of Trump’s Russian ties. In a billboard format, the company pin-pointed the fact that they are “made in America” and added that that they would “be happy to talk about our ties to Russia under oath.”

The advert is apparently mocking the US president, who is being investigated by the FBI and congressional committees over Russian meddling in U.S. elections. The fact that Smirnoff Vodka, which is owned by the British Diago company, has now joined the ranks of countless Americans and companies who have made it a mission to take a jab at Trump is pure perfection. Even people on Twitter gave some feedback:
Now THAT makes me want to go out and buy some Smirnoff!

Haven’t liked vodka since a dodgy incident in high school… but I’m here for this ad! Love it! #TrumpRussia
