Donald Trump is desperate to find top talent to perform at his inauguration on January 20th, and he can cross Charlotte Church off his wish list because she doesn’t sing for tyrants.
Apparently, Trump’s team reached out to internationally renowned vocalist and she not only declined but also sent a message to Trump on Twitter informing him that he could have saved some time by simply using Google to find out what she thinks of him.
@realDonaldTrump Your staff have asked me to sing at your inauguration, a simple Internet search would show I think you’re a tyrant. Bye💩💩💩💩

Clearly, despite Trump saying he doesn’t care about having A-list performers at his inauguration, he is still seeking them out, only to be rejected.
And Trump only has himself to blame. The best singers in the world refuse to make a deal with the devil. His divisive and hateful rhetoric combined with his petty insults on Twitter have made him a pariah whom nobody wants to risk their reputation for. Maybe if Trump had treated everybody with respect things would be different.
So far, Trump has only been able to secure the Radio City Rockettes and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir along with a 16-year-old named Jackie Evancho to perform at the inauguration. But even members of both those groups are concerned about doing it, which has caused some to quit rather than be forced to sing for Trump.
Predictably, Trump supporters attacked Church on Twitter.

Judging by the outrage from Trump supporters, Church definitely made the right choice.
