We all know that Donald Trump’s outreach to the African American community (or any minority, for that matter) has been absolutely pathetic. Any attempts Trump made to try and prove he wasn’t racist had failed miserably, and some of his ideas were just ridiculous and hilarious. One of them has just been revealed, and it’ll make you laugh your a** off.
During an interview on Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning show earlier this week, rapper 50 Cent spoke about an $500,000 offer Trump had made to him in exchange for his help in winning black votes during his presidential campaign. 50 Cent had obviously rejected the offer and joked that Trump’s hefty offer wasn’t “good enough” for what Trump was asking of him. 50 Cent recalled how Trump wanted to use him to manipulate the black community:
They wanted to pay me $500,000 as part of the campaign to just make an appearance. I was like: ‘Nah that’s not good money. I’m not going to do that. That’s not worth it.’”
This is particularly note-worthy and humiliating for Trump because 50 Cent had actually filed for bankruptcy a year earlier. To have him turn down an offer like Trump’s, in that particular financial position, is a major ‘f*ck you’ to The Donald. 50 Cent also trashed Trump in the interview, calling him “the accidental president.” The rapper said:
If you were a president by accident, you might do some of the things Donald Trump is doing.”
Hopefully, Trump will hear this interview and feel humiliated all over again, as he did the first time 50 Cent rejected his offer. The rapper also made sure he bashed the undeserving POTUS on The View earlier this week when he said it was time to get rid of the president.
