The Republican Party is trying to force ridiculous polices that will hurt millions, but Paul Ryan is trying to make it look like he cares about all Americans, especially kids facing a “life of crime.” Ryan posted the most insecure tweet yesterday afternoon–giving parents and teachers “advice”:
Helping kids reject a life of crime requires more than a detention facility. It takes teamwork among parents, teachers, and the community. pic.twitter.com/t57ITg9C0X

Many people were quick to lash out on the White House speaker:
You could care less about educating kids. Remember you said free school lunch makes them soulless. Easy for a rich white sociopath to say.

Ryan -you don’t care about kids and crime, just like you don’t care about decent healthcare. You like money and are indebted to Dark Money.

Too bad you have no real marketable life skills so you rely on stealing from the poor to live affluently. You’re so disingenuous it’s absurd

Is that why eighth grade students don’t want to be seen with you ?

Impose mandatory minimums to feed private prison owners. Defund schools, and afterschool programs? You’re a liar and a hypocrite.

Indeed, Paul Ryan has got to be one of the biggest hypocrites in Trump’s swamp. He pretends to care for a child’s well-being, but then promotes private prisons, (particularly those who donate to him) and supports defunding public education.
