Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough have had enough of Kellyanne Conway’s lies, announcing that the Trump advisor is hereby banned from appearing on their show indefinitely.
In a savage dressing down of Conway, Brzezinski told viewers that the pathological lies spewed daily by Conway were doing a disservice to journalism. (Hey, we could have told them that months ago – and we did! – but better late than never.)
“I don’t believe in fake news or information that is not true. That is — every time I’ve ever seen her on television something is askew, off or incorrect.”
Even more embarrassing for Conway, Brzezinski confirmed the deranged way SNL portrayed Conway as obsessed with attention and self-promotion was entirely accurate, remarking that it was Conway who desperately tried to book herself on these programs. She loves the attention. Craves it.
“I know for a fact she tries to book herself on this show; I won’t do it,” the MSNBC host said.
The hits just keep coming for Conway, who already this week learned through social media that Trump and the official White House Twitter accounts have “unfollowed” her, signalling she is possibly finished in the administration. Worse still, while fending off criticism for her incessant lies, Conway retweeted a “supporter” who turned out to be a raging white supremacist. She was forced, again, to lie, pretending she “didn’t know” who was on her Twitter account at the time.
CNN also recently announced that it would not be accepting Conway’s appearances during their coveted Sunday morning news programs. The entire news industry appears to be slowly severing its ties to Conway. And that puts her in a place of danger for Trump – who cares almost exclusively about what the media is saying about him. She needs this media attention – and they are no longer giving it to her.
