Jaws Drop As Trump Gives Stunning Defense Of Son’s Secret Russia Meeting (DETAILS)

While the entire world unites in agreement that Donald Trump Jr. and his secret meeting with a Russian lawyer should be shunned, the President of the United States apparently feels very differently about it.

On Wednesday, Donald Trump basically gave his moronic son a big pat on the back for doing something that he would have sent Hillary Clinton to jail for.

In an interview with Reuters, Trump actually said, “I think many people would have held that meeting.”

Reuters reported:

Asked if he knew that his son was meeting with the Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya in June last year, Trump said in a White House interview: “No, that I didn’t know until a couple of days ago when I heard about this.”

In the interview, Trump said he did not fault his son for holding the meeting. “I think many people would have held that meeting,” the president said.

Yes. America’s president has just condoned colluding with a foreign government to get damaging information on his political opponent. Let’s not forget that this was the real reason for Trump Jr.’s meeting with that Russian lawyer – he only agreed to the meeting once he was told he would get incriminating information on Hillary Clinton. And of course, corrupt Trump is all for it.

What Trump is giving a thumbs up to is his son’s violation of 52 U.S. Code Section 30121, which prohibits “a contribution or donation of money or other thing of value, or to make an express or implied promise to make a contribution or donation, in connection with a Federal, State, or local election.”

That definitely sounds like something Trump Jr. violated.

While it might not be surprising that Trump would support his son’s illegal activity, it is surprising that he would do it in such a public way. Trump is either too stupid to know that he’s making himself look even worse, or he’s desperately trying to find a way out of the presidency. Either is highly plausible.
