Republican lawmakers have been having a rough time of it lately whenever they go home to connect with their constituents during breaks. It seems that GOP lawmaker Darrell Issa of California has a most peculiar solution to avoid speaking with constituents: Hide on the roof of his office building. Issa was spotted standing atop the building on Tuesday afternoon, with constituents assembled below, politely waiting to see the man they elected. However, instead of doing his job, Rep. GOP lawmakers become more pathetic by the day. They don’t care about the nation or doing their jobs; no, they just want to be in power. But what are they doing while they currently control all three branches of the federal government? Nothing good, that’s what. Rolling back regulations that protect air and water, ignoring Trump’s Russia scandals and acting as if they don’t matter, and trying to take healthcare away from millions of people. Rightfully, these are things that do not sit well with the majority of Americans who did not vote for these people. So, what is their solution?

Hide on the roof.
