The world is continuing to buzz about ESPN’s Jemele Hill calling Trump exactly what he is. Some are being complete idiots about it, including the White House, which has attacked Hill and even called on ESPN to fire her for it. And then there’s Fox Sports Radio Host Clay Travis, who somehow managed to out-idiot and out-disgust the man in the White House. Speaking to CNN’s Brooke Baldwin, he said there are two things he believes in: The 1st Amendment, and boobs.
Yes, he really said that:
I’m a first amendment absolutist. I believe in only two things completely. The first amendment and boobs.”
After Brooke became sufficiently shocked for him, he doubled down on his digusting boobs comment:
Boobs, two things that never let me down, the first amendment and boobs.”
Really? Someone who’s on the air for a sports network (or any network, or anyone, really) should absolutely know what’s appropriate to say on television. But Travis didn’t, and Baldwin’s other guest was shocked as well. Keith Reed said he was astonished at what he just heard, causing Travis to double down again.
At that point, Baldwin shut it down entirely. Watch her shut Travis’ naked sexism down below:
