Eric Trump, amateur president Trump’s younger son, went into full-snowflake mode on Fox New’s ‘Hannity’ show Monday night, in an effort to call for more support for his Dad following a chaotic week for the current occupant of the White House. Eric told Sean Hannity that his father is carrying the “whole weight” of the Republican party on his shoulders.
Flashback: While on the campaign trail in 2016, Trump declared, “I alone can fix it!” To that claim, delegates cheered him on.
But now, Eric wants someone to start fighting for Mr. Fix It, even though he claims his father is “the best fighter in the world.”
“My father said it, you know, he said it a couple of weeks ago in a tweet. He said, you know, ‘Am I going to have to carry this whole weight on my shoulders? When are some of the people in my own party going to start protecting me?’” Eric said. “Now listen, I’m an outsider, I am looking in on the White House. … But I want somebody to start fighting to him.”
Trump has failed to pass any significant legislation after being in power for 6 months. The former reality show star’s disapproval rating is the worst in the 70-year history of polling.
Still yet, Eric thinks Trump is the “voice of this country,” and he said that despite his father losing the popular vote.
“But how much weight does he have to carry by himself? How can a party that is doing so much better than the Democrats. … Why wouldn’t they embrace this? My father has the voice of this country. The people of this country love him. Why wouldn’t they get in line?” he said.
He then went on to place the blame on Democrats, too.
“Democrats would rather see my father fail than see this country succeed,” he added.

He’s wrong again but at least he’s consistent. Firstly, Democrats are well aware that Obamacare needs to be fixed, but his father is trying to sabotage it instead of finding a way to make the health care law better for all Americans. In addition, Eric called his father’s Russia scandal ‘phony’ but we’re sure Special Counsel Robert Mueller thinks otherwise. In fact, the Washington Post revealed this morning that Donald Trump dictated his son, Donald Trump Jr.’s, misleading (or what we’d call a lie) statement about his meeting with the Russia lawyer in 2016.
Eric said he’s an ‘outsider’ on Sean Hannity’s show while defending his father. Most of what he deemed as Donald Trump’s accomplishments can be attributed to former President Barack Obama. You can’t make this stuff up. As for 401Ks, the only thing Trump has done is that he hasn’t obliterated the workplace savings plan. Yet.
We rate Eric Trump’s remarks on Hannity’s show ‘Pants on fire’.
