Democrats on Tuesday night made sure that the latest Republican health care plan, called the Better Care Act, wouldn’t see the light of day in their attempt to repeal and replace Obamacare.
Earlier in the day, Trump praised Senator John McCain for traveling all the way to Washington to make the deciding vote, after it was announced he was struggling with brain cancer.
This isn’t the end of it, though. This week Senators will attempt to debate a later version of the bill in order to secure enough votes. For now, at least, Trumpcare is dead in the water.
