Conservatives are predictably livid after Hollywood legends told the truth about Donald Trump.
Legendary actresses Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda reunited with their 9 to 5 co-star country music legend Dolly Parton on Sunday night to present the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie at the 69th Emmy Awards.
9 to 5 was a 1980 comedy film about three women who get even with their asshole boss, played by actor Dabney Coleman. It currently stands as the 20th highest grossing comedy of all-time
While presenting the award, Fonda and Tomlin used the platform to take Trump to the woodshed, comparing him to Coleman’s character.
“Well, back in 1980, in that movie, we refused to be controlled by a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot,” Fonda said.
“And in 2017, we still refuse to be controlled by a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot,” Tomlin remarked.

The crowd cheered. And that’s because Fonda and Tomlin told the truth. Donald Trump is a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot. It’s like Coleman’s character became president in real-life.
Trump’s sexism is well-documented. He constantly brags about himself. He has lied more than any president in history. He’s a professional hypocrite who talks about bringing jobs back to America while refusing to hire Americans. He also talks about buying American while his own company buys raw materials from foreign companies to construct buildings. And Trump’s defense of white supremacy clearly makes him a bigot, not to mention his frequent attacks against Muslims and Hispanics.
As usual, the remarks triggered Trump’s conservative supporters, who raged on social media.
