Chuck Todd Strikes Back At Trump For Attacking Mika, His Response Is Perfect (TWEET)

Donald Trump went off the rails yesterday in a disgusting attack against MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, and was most notably criticized for his shocking comments about Brzezinski “bleeding badly from a face-lift.”

After those comments circulated (and it didn’t take long), Trump was condemned by just about everyone – even Republicans. People were just as shocked as they were when Trump’s Hollywood Access tape was released, and top GOPers rushed to distance themselves from Trump’s horrendous behavior. Sen. Lindsay Graham tweeted: “Mr. President, your tweet was beneath the office and represents what is wrong with American politics.” Speaker of the House Paul Ryan was even more brutal: “Obviously, I don’t see that as an appropriate comment. What we’re trying to do around here is improve the tone and the civility of the debate. And this obviously doesn’t help do that.”

It’s easy to criticize the things Trump said, but many missed the big picture. It wasn’t until NBC’s Chuck Todd, the host of Meet The Press, weighed in and showed America why we should REALLY be outraged and concerned by Trump’s behavior. Pointing out the major issue with Trump in general, Todd tweeted this gem:

Anyone with a child under 18 has to be asking themselves, how do I explain the president’s actions especially since he faces no consequences.”

Exactly. Trump has done some of the most disgusting, outrageous things we’ve ever seen, and he has yet to face any kind of consequences. These are not the values or behaviors that we would ever want to teach our children, and yet they are learning them from an idiot we elected as President. What kind of message is this communicating to them?

Hopefully, Trump will finally be held accountable by American voters in 2020 – and we’re all crossing our fingers that it will be much sooner than that as the call for Trump’s impeachment becomes deafening.
