Well it looks like the Yosemite Sam of rock and roll, Ted Nugent, is on another one of his angry incoherent tirades. This time old Uncle Ted has himself all worked up into a lather over the new movie “13 Hours” which dramatizes the events leading up to the attacks that took place at an American embassy in Benghazi back in 2012.
The out-spoken Nugent wasted no time spewing his special brand of verbal Jihad all over his Facebook to express is outrage over Hillary Clinton, Barrack Obama and the greatest scandal that never was- “Benghazi”. On Wednesday Nugent posted his hate-filled paranoid delusions calling for the execution of Obama and Clinton in a Facebook rant that read more like the manifesto of a suicide bomber, than a performer’s music fan page. In part the post reads:
Our unholy rotten soulless criminal America destroying government killed 4 Americans in Banghazi. Period! What sort of chimpass punk would deny security, turn down 61 requests for security, then tell US forces to STAND DOWN when they were ready to kickass on the allapukes & save American lives! Obama & Clinton, thats who. They should be tried for treason & hung. Our entire fkdup gvt must be cleansed asap.
With the recent rise of right-wing terrorism like the one taking in place in Oregon, it’s no wonder Nugent’s comment thread is riddled with irrational fantasies of an army of pissed off patriots rising up to destroy the Kenyan usurper and take back their country. As I scrolled through Nugent’s page what strikes me most is the sheer number of absolutely bat-s*it crazy Nugent fans, or maybe disciples is a more accurate term, that are convinced the Government wants to take their gun, put a chip in their head and send them off to a FEMA Deathcamp.
As for Nugent himself, a man who will say anything for media attention, since the only people who still play his records are hostage negotiators, it’s hard to tell how much of the Motorcity Madman’s insane rhetoric is for real and how much is a desperate gambit to pander to the enraged and uneducated in the hopes of staying relevant.
In 2013 I publicly issued a challenge to Ted Nugent on my radio show “The Ignorance Equation” to a boxing match, I even sweetened the deal by offering to wear an Obama mask, almost 3 years later and I am still waiting for a reply. I guess Ted Nugent is not as crazy as he pretends to be.
