Fox News posted a few graphics Saturday on Twitter which inadvertently praises Democratic leadership. We don’t think the network thought this out before releasing the tweets. The graphics compare the economic records after the first 100 days of the past four presidents, but there was a problem with their thinking. For example, one graphic shows former President Barack Obama going into office with 9 percent unemployment, whereas amateur president Donald Trump is enjoying 3.8 percent in unemployment, the latter of which was gifted to him by his predecessor.

You see how Trump has the second-lowest unemployment rate? Well, that’s because of Obama, who entered office during the recession of 2009. When Obama exited the office, he left us with a 4.8 percent unemployment rate in January 2017.
Then the network Fox tweeted a graphic to compare jobs added during the first two months of the presidencies.

The Hill reports:
Trump has been criticized for exaggerating the number of jobs created during the first months of his administration. A page on the White House website celebrated the adding of over 500,000 jobs under Trump, but a CNN Money analysis found that that number included jobs created during January when Trump was only in the White House for 11 days.
Each time a Democrat has taken the office, he’s cleaned up the mess a Republican president left behind.
@brianwilson231 @FoxNews This is very hard for ur feeble mind to digest: Obama inherited Bush’s mess. Trump inherited Obama’s growth, but it’s dropped 50% since…

And then there’s this.

As it happens, the U.S. economy grew at a 0.7 percent rate during the first three months of 2017 after Trump took the office and that was the weakest growth in three years.
For that, the embattled network was dragged on social media.
@FoxNews You guys think your viewers are total idiots. It’s embarrassing.

So Democratic presidents have inherited economic messes and have left the economy in much better shape for their GOP successors. Got it. https://t.co/wgbtjj5XXE

@FoxNews FOX just proved that Republicans leave office with high unemployment rates and Democrats fix it.

@FoxNews How do you like the auto industry? Glad America still has one? Obama saved it and the economy after Bush. Trump is riding in his slipstream.
